The question we started with yesterday was whether thigh high boots are glamorous or trashy. We're continuing to look at Kim Kardashian as an example of someone who can pull this look off well. However, not even reality stars are safe from fashion disasters. While Kim sometimes pulls off thigh high boots perfectly, there are other times she looks frumpy.
In this photo from September 2011, Kim paired Louboutin boots with skinny jeans and what looks like a maternity top. My original perception was that thigh high boots could make you look like a porn star if worn incorrectly. To my surprise, they can also make you look chunky. When you compare this with how fabulous and sophisticated Kim looks in the chocolate Fairfax thigh highs, it's pretty surprising.
Sorry, Kim. This look is an epic fail.
