I've been returning to DSW for two weeks waiting for prices to drop on this cute flat. The SM Flat Lux's sapphire blue calls to me! Add the the fringe and beading and you have a flat that's fun. DSW is promoting free shipping this week so I'm very tempted to pull out my plastic.
It's Monday. The Easter holiday is over. Time to be return to work -- nose back to the grindstone...

Spring is time for sandals and open-toe shoes. The fun thing about 2009 designs is the combination materials and color. The Cole Haan Amelia Air Slingback is an excellent specimen for pairing material (rope and leather) as well as showing off one unique silhouette. The wedge is woven rope and measures 4 inches.
What's even better is when fashion and comfort meet. While I haven't tried on this pair yet, I have heard it's designed with comfort in mind. The Amelia Air conceals NIKE Air cushioning behind the patent leather uppers. The sole is buffed leather.
You'll find this shoe online in plenty of stores but scoring your size may be a difficult task plus the price won't be cheap. Cost ranges from $120 - $200.

Juicy's Ever is also available in more traditional colors like black and tan. The uppers are leather. The shoes are made in Italy and the heel is only 1/2" high. The over-sized gold buckle is fun and adds a touch of shimmer. In reviews on Zappos, I've also read that this shoe is comfortable and provides moderate arch support.
The common refrain you'll hear me say is that I love to wear heels. I feel tall and glamorous wearing them. Even more important is that it's difficult to find sexy flats. On the other hand, my feet are killing me from weeks (if not years) of heels well beyond three inces. My colleague in the next cube over from me always wears adorable shoes. These are usually flats. Madden Girl's zebra print is a great way to walk on the wild side. My friend Karen purchased this pair a few weeks ago. She's a conformed high heel addict. Lately, she has had a difficult time finding fun flats. She raved about the how great Madden Girl felt -- which is exactly what I want to hear about cute shoes.

Last week, I saw a friend with an adorable pair of zebra-print flats. They looked perfect for either winter or summer in sunny California. Apparently, she found them at DSW. I was not so lucky browsing online for a photo of them but I found this flat gem instead.
Audrey Brooke Billie Patent Leather Demi Wedge is available in several colors: red, blue, black and tan. All have bright white accents and a matching chain ornament.
I have not tried on this pair, so I cannot speak to the comfort level, but I do apprecate the demi wedge design offered by Audrey Brooke. The rubber demi wedge is only a 1/2" -- which makes it perfect for ladies looking for a little lift without the lower back pain. The peep toe will also show off fresh pedicure.

Beth Wan has multi-tasked her file cabinet for a few years now. Her office collection is mostly comprised of flats, which are critical when you work in San Francisco and may need to walk somewhere when you are wearing Manolo heels. Between being a complete klutz and always running during travel, I appreciate flats more and more. This pair from Dollhouse is one of the most comfortable pair of shoes that I own. The mesh netting is great for the summer, giving tired feet room to stretch and it's breathable for the hottest of days. Plus it's a fun and flirty style.
They are available in several colors including electric blue, hot pink, black and white. My personal favorite is the flesh-tone because it is easy to match with many different outfits.
The only draw back is that there is no arch support with the shoe.
