My colleague, JoAnn Peach, wore this fabulous pair of emerald green heels to the office a few weeks ago. These are by Zara and she said that they are very comfortable.
I love how she also wore a green top and headband. The look is fun and sophisticated for a casual Friday.

Franco Sarto's Irony is on my must have list. In fact, I bought a pair online but it was too big so I am sadly returning them. Not only did they look chic but they were surprisingly comfortable.
The color actually has a creamy tone to it which makes it easy to wear in either summer or winter. Irony is also available in patent black.
Franco Sarto's Irony is another example of the vogue t-strap. The heel measures 3 3/4" high. The platfrom is disguised, making this shoe an elegant choice for the office without looking like you are wearing giant stripper heels.
Again, I cannot over stress the comfort level in these shoes. I read many user reviews before purchasing it. One woman claimed she wore them for 10-hours right out of the box and experience no sore feet!
I was very disappointed to return them but I could not see my toes through the peep toe. I'll try a smaller size next time.
If you are looking to buy a pair, the best value I found was at Zappos for my size for $93.00. You can also try Amazon, which had them for under $70.00, but only they only had stock in size 10.
A post today by the Fashion Police got me thinking about Mui Mui. While the suede platform they reviewed is indeed a crime, Mui Mui is still a fun brand with some fabulous shoes. Rather than talk more about an gaudy closed toe pump, it's summer and I'm looking at elegant strappy heels. This one in particular caught my eye. How I wish I had the budget to wear this to a friend's wedding in a couple of months.
The combination of rose and gold is feminine and bright, plus it would go with a wide variety of items in my wardrobe. The only criticism I have is that the jewels on the heel make are unneeded. It is attractive without the bling.
Anyone interested in contributing funds so I can afford a pair of Miu Miu's, please note that I do accept donations... Just kidding... kinda.
For as long as I can remember, I wanted a sexy pair for feathered satin slippers with a high heel. I think this fascination for such impractical slippers started with my Barbie dolls... but I digress.
I finally bought a pair a few years ago from Victoria's Secret. The ivory white is a bit too pure for this number. I wanted something edgy and so I purchased a sultry black version. The feathers are lightweight and shed only slightly. The heel is 3.5" -- just enough to be both seductive and painful. Then again, there should be little walking involved if you are wearing these slippers.
Like every shoe-fiend, I drool Pavlovian-style when I see two magic words: Shoe Sale. I honestly don't need an excuse to shop but at least I do have a trip coming up this summer...
Lucky me! No stress of being a bride but all the fun of going to the bachelorette party. What's a girl to wear while in Vegas? I'm in the market for something fun and bright during the day. At night, I'll need something sexy to stay on my feet while I dance like it's 1985.
... Which brings me back to the topic at hand: the search for a fun and flirty day-time shoe that's on sale.

Why I want it: I like the natural wood for summer. I also like the metal rivets and buckle. The color is playful and the fade-to-white past the buckle is a nice detail.
Reason for hesitation: While I do plan to spend my days by the pool, I'm concerned that the hard wooden sole would hurt walking from room to pool-bar.
I'll keep search for a few days. The maid of honor has us girls on a carry-on only packing diet so the shoes I take with me must be perfect. In the meantime, I'll keep you posted as I find more hot sales for daytime and night life shoes. Likewise, let me know your recommendations!
The last thing any bride should worry about while dancing at her wedding is a pair of aching feet. My friend, Sara, is getting married this September and she is now in the process of breaking in her shoes so that they'll be comfortable on her wedding day.
Sara chose this classic style dubbed "Petal" by Colorful Creations Shoes. The heel is tapered and measures 3.3/8" high. The satin fabric is available only in white but in can be dyed.
The satin provides a luster that appealed to the bride-to-be while the rounded toe added to the vintage style she had in mind. The primary reason behind the selection was the rhinestone circle which catches the light like crystals.
Of course, every bride should feel like a princess. "They just look like Cinderella shoes when I see them sparkling," she said.
I recently bought this pair at DSW. (They were on the sale rack so I couldn't resist.) The bright red leather is a great contrast with the canvas.
The comfort level is a bit lacking. The heels are a too tight to wear all day without slipping them off under my desk to give my toes a break. However, they are well worth the pain so long as I do not need to run any where.
